Privacy · draft for review

Privacy policy

What OpxKit handles when you use the site, contact us or buy a kit. This is a working draft pending business and legal review.

Draft for review. This page is not final legal advice. Business identity, public support address, refund rules and applicable law must be confirmed before publication.

01

Information you provide

When you create an account, OpxKit handles your email address and profile details, including a display name and an optional profile photo. You may also provide billing details and preferences for kit updates. Free-kit requests record an email address and the requested kit. Contact form messages record your name, email, topic and message; a one-way network-address fingerprint may be used to limit repeated submissions. Do not include passwords or secret keys in a message.

02

Purchases and payment provider

OpxKit records order details such as the kit, transaction reference, amount, status and buyer email so purchases, invoices and access can be shown in your account. Checkout and official invoices are provided by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment and tax information under its own privacy terms; OpxKit does not use this contact form to collect card details.

03

How information is used

Information supports sign-in, purchase verification, access to downloads, account settings, responding to contact messages and limiting form abuse. Notification preferences can be saved in your account; automated release or security emails are not yet enabled. Do not treat those settings as a promise that such messages are currently sent.

04

Service providers and access

OpxKit uses a hosted application and account service to run its site and keep account and order data. Paddle handles paid checkout. Authorized OpxKit admins can view purchase and contact information when needed to operate the service. A full list of processors, their roles and data locations must be verified before this policy is final.

05

Storage, access and security

Kit download links are time-limited and tied to verified purchases. Profile photos and kit files are stored in private storage. No online service can promise absolute security; avoid sending sensitive credentials through the contact form. Specific security standards or certifications have not been confirmed for this draft.

06

Account deletion and retention

Eligible buyers can delete their account from Profile. The account, personal profile, photo, saved billing details and notification preferences are removed. Past orders are kept as unlinked records because payment and tax records may need to be retained; orders may still be matched by email if you create a new account with the same address. Paddle maintains its own payment and invoice records. Contact messages are held for handling inquiries; a precise retention schedule still needs to be confirmed.

07

Your choices and requests

You can update your profile and billing information, change notification preferences and request help through the Contact page. If you have questions about access, correction or deletion of information that remains, contact OpxKit. Applicable rights and response periods depend on the laws that apply and need legal review before this policy is finalized.

08

Policy details

The legal operator, public support email, effective date, applicable jurisdictions and complete provider list have not yet been supplied. These must be confirmed and added before this draft is published as a final privacy policy.
